How to get from Paris to Disneyland

How to get to Disneyland Paris from Gare du Nord

Guide for how to get from Paris Gare du Nord to Disneyland

Does Disneyland® Paris have a train station?

Yes, the Marne-la-Vallée/Chessy train station is located by the front gates of Disney Village, the Disney parks and hotels.

Can you take the Eurostar direct to Disneyland Paris?

From June 2023, the direct Eurostar service from London to Disneyland Paris will cease. Until then, there are several direct Eurostars each week from London St Pancras to Marne-la-Vallée, the area in which Disneyland Paris is located. This journey takes just 2 hours 49 minutes and it’s only a 2-minute walk to the park from Marne-la-Vallée station. Although this is the most direct route, it may not be the cheapest or most convenient option for the group  depending on the time of your visit. Instead, we recommend that groups take the Eurostar to Gare du Nord, in central Paris, and then take the commuter line to get to Disneyland Paris. Read our handy guide on how to get to Disneyland Paris from Gare du Nord below.

How do I get from Gare du Nord to Disneyland Paris?

Once you’ve arrived at Garde du Nord, make your way to the main station concourse. Follow the signs for the RER and Metro lines, taking you one level down.

You’ll find the ticket office and ticket machines by the RER platform entrance. You will need to use the ticket office if you’re paying with cash.

Follow these steps if you’re using the ticket machine:

1. Set the language to English
2. Select “Purchase Tickets”
3. Select “Ile de France Tickets”
4. Select “Another Station”
5. Use the keypad to type “Marne-la-Vallée” (it will auto-complete for you)
6. Select “Marne-V/Chessy” from the list
7. Choose your ticket type and quantity
8. Select “Continue Purchasing” to buy multiple tickets on one transaction

Next, you’ll need to get to Châtelet Les Halles on the RER (where you will change trains for Marne-la-Vallée/Disneyland Paris). There are two trains that will get you there in just one stop:

  • RER Line B in the direction of Robinson / Saint-Rémy-lés-Chevreuse
  • RER Line D in the direction of Malesherbes / Melun

Once you’ve arrived at Châtelet Les Halles, you’ll need to take the RER Line A in the direction of Boissy-St-Léger / Marne-la-Vallée. Look out for the Mickey Mouse symbol on the signs to get you there!

Marne-la-Vallée is the last stop on this line and the journey takes 40 minutes. So once you're on the train, sit back and relax before your busy day exploring the parks!

How do I get from the station to the park entrance?

Once you’ve arrived at Marne-la-Vallée, you’ll need to use your ticket to exit the station. The entrance and security checkpoint for Disneyland Paris, Walt Disney Studios Paris and the Disney Village is located right outside the station.

How do I get back to Gare du Nord from Disneyland Paris?

We recommend factoring in more time for your return journey as there will be a lot of people leaving the park at the same time which can cause delays.

To purchase your ticket back to Gare du Nord, you need to select “Tickets for Paris City” on the ticket machine at Marne-la-Vallée station.

Get the train back to Châtelet Les Halles, where you’ll need to get off and change trains to take the RER back to Gare du Nord. There are two trains that will get you there in one stop:

  • RER Line B in the direction of Aéroport Charles de Gaulle / Mitry-Claye
  • RER Line D towards Orry-la-Ville / Coye

Once you’ve arrived at Gare du Nord, follow the signs for “Grandes Lignes” and you won’t be able to miss the Eurostar entrance!
